Abstract
Introduction: The Gender Equality Unit of the Department of Education and Science (DES) has produced this resource for primary schools entitled Equal Measures, which consists of a manual and a DVD. The manual contains four separate booklets. These booklets have been developed to assist teachers, parents, pupils, the school community and boards of management in formulating a gender equality policy and in promoting gender equality in primary schools.
