Abstract
On 28th of May, the Institute for Management Development (IMD) published it’s World Competitiveness Yearbook 2019. It ranks Ireland is the 2nd most competitive country in the EU and the 7th most competitive economy in the worldout of 63 economies -a jump of five places from last year. Singapore is ranked 1st followed by Hong Kong and the USA.
