Abstract
Description
This report presents the findings of an evaluation of digital learning, conducted by the
Inspectorate of the Department of Education and Skills, in a sample of early learning and
care (ELC) settings, primary schools and post-primary schools, during the period January to
December 2019. One of the objectives of the Action Plan for Education 2016-2019 was to
‘increase the use of ICT in teaching, learning and assessment so that learners are equipped with
the necessary skills to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing learning environment.
