Abstract
The Irish platygastroid (Platygastridae and Scelionidae) and proctotrupoid (Diapriidae, Heloridae and Proctotrupidae) faunas are reviewed and checklists provided. Data are provided on 316 species, twenty-five of which are recorded from Ireland for the first time. Based mainly on the published literature, full data are given on these parasitic wasps where available, including distributions, flight-periods and hosts.
