Abstract
This Corporate Procurement Plan (CPP) sets out the key procurement objectives and strategies for the Adoption Authority of Ireland (AAI) for 2021-2023. The AAI is committed to delivering excellent quality services. It is recognised within the organisation that a strategic approach to procurement plays a central role in achieving such services. This CPP sets out the Authority’s objectives to improve its procurement performance over the next three years. The plan will assist the Authority in supporting the national procurement model. This CPP, and subsequent Annual Procurement Plans, will describe where the organisation is at that
moment in terms of best practice and where it would like to be in the period 2021 -2023. The overriding objective is to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the procurement system and to ensure the successful application of best practice and value for money across the organisation.
