Description
The “National Code of Practice for Managing and Commercialising Intellectual Property from Public-Private Collaborative Research”, published by the Advisory Science Council in November 2005, presents the national policy position in relation to managing intellectual property in collaborative research arrangements. In line with the Code, Forfás has developed bi-lateral template collaboration agreements for use by industry and academic partners in a collaborative research project. The Template Agreement is designed to assist and enable the parties reach agreement in an efficient manner by way of suggested clauses accompanied by detailed explanatory notes in the form of footnotes.
