Description
This survey gives an analysis of expenditure and personnel resources allocated to research and development performed within the higher education sector for the academic year 1998. This survey shows that over £160 (€203) million was spent on research in the higher education sector in 1998. This represents a real annual growth rate of 12 per cent since 1992
